Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.

Stuff is very accommodating and truly cares about you. Location is 5 min away from a very nice beach.

The place was great. We stayed for 6 nights. The room had a king sized bed and a couch. It had a desk, 2 nightstands with reading lights. The vanity was big. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator worked fine. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. This hotel has been a great place for us to stay on our trip to Legoland over the last few years.

The room was clean and even though it's by an airport it was extremely quite and the bed was comfortable so we slept good. We were provided with great customer service and delicious breakfast! I would definitely stay again if in the area again!

- The hot breakfast (which I didn't know it was included in mine) was awesome. They had egg-based meal, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bread, orange juice, and more (and yes, everything was hot and delicious) - Parking (self-covered) will be just $10, which I think is a really reasonable price. - The place is quiet and safe. Beautiful updated oceanfront patio with lounges, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the beach 🏖️. Watching the waves and families enjoying the surf while sipping a cold drink ( available onsite). This hotel is literally on the sand‼️ You can’t stay closer to the beach than the Del Mar Hotel. There are 2 outstanding restaurants right next door. No need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy.

The absolute QUIETEST hotel we have EVER stayed in, and the place was full of kids! Same exit as LegoLand so we expected kids and it to be loud. We stayed for an entire week and never heard anything! Occasionally hear the train, but was muffled. Staff was incredibly friendly, and I mean all of them! Even just passing in the hallways or elevators, they would great you and smile. This little gem sits right on the beach and is PERFECT! I stayed with my two daughters and we plan to go back as soon as possible. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was within walking distance of everything. Our stay included free wifi, parking, and breakfast (I think this is the norm for all stays). As for the beach, there are complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogie boards. So fun! You won't regret choosing this hotel!

So convenient. Drove in from Vegas. Parked the car and never had to move it again because dining is within walking distance. The staff was amazing. Great customer service. Also convenient they have beach chairs, umbrella, body boards that are complimentary to guests. I would stay here again

As every parent knows, traveling with young children isn’t easy. Finding a reliable place to stay with child-friendly amenities is among the most significant obstacles. This hotel did everything it could to provide a safe environment and keep the kids occupied. In addition, they offered excellent breakfast free of charge. Stayed here for one night after a concert & was happy to have found this place. The rooms were tidy, the staff was kind & friendly. Very quiet hotel. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location directly across from beach access and the Carlsbad village. Service was awesome! They made our experience special and stress free, especially having young children. They provided all of the beach amenities we could ask for, including towels, toys, chairs, umbrellas. The grounds of the property really made the stay extra special. It’s meticulously maintained with a Hawaiian vibe. You very much feel like you’ve been transported to the islands. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I went for a little weekend getaway and the hotel was lovely. We had an ocean view room with a big balcony. It was surprisingly quiet. You can walk everywhere, we left our car parked the whole time. The hotel staff is so friendly!!

All was superb until 10:30 pm, when the new guests on the room above us checked in/arrived. Children running stomping and yelling into the wee hours. Just to wake us up again at 7 am. They didnt seemed to be supervised, maybe lack of. Just a suggestion, please put family with children on bottom rooms.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool is perfect, looking out over the beach.
