Oasis in Northern Kentucky

The pool was great! Host very accommodating and welcoming to our family. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting the Ark Encounter.

Perfect place near University of Kentucky

We loved how clean and beautiful it was. The hosts are wonderful too! We played checkers and watched a movie. We plan to stay again when we visit our daughter at UK.

Peaceful stay

Great stay overnight. Included extra towel which was nice along with fresh farm eggs and muffins. Girls loved the cocoa in the morning! Definitely 5 stars. Great neighborhood

Cozy Little Place

The place is well furnished and definitely feels larger than the stated square footage. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to visit Georgetown, Frankfort, or Lexington and have somewhere quiet to rest.

Quiet, clean, and great location!

We had a relaxing stay here when visiting the beautiful Georgetown/Lexington area this weekend. The location was perfect for our needs and easy to find. Everything was as described -- clean, cozy, comfortable, and filled with all the necessities (and a few extras, as well). We appreciated all the special, welcoming touches that allowed us to feel like we could make a "home away from home" without being in the way. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Very clean and nice space

Property was clean and easily accessible. The free eggs and butter was nice. Only complaint is it could be noisy at times. Noise is expected as the listing was clear that it was a basement, but we heard dogs barking and banging noises at night. Hosts were kind and communicative. Easy drive to Lexington

A Perfect Farm Stay Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful farm stay apartment in rural Georgetown! The space was clean, cozy, and loved the decor. We were coming in town to see Tyler Childers at Commonwealth in Lex.The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We especially enjoyed watching the chickens roam in their pin/coop! We regret not trying the fresh eggs the hosts kindly left for us, but it was such a thoughtful gesture. If we stay again we will also make sure it’s honey season to be able to try theirs!

nice bacement appartment in a family home in the country

This is place has a large living space and a large bed room. The hoste is easy to reach and helpful. The only down side is for any one short in stature or any walking issues the only way from the drive way to the unit is steap and a bit narrow well maintained brick path. The bed , tub and table are high . We always travel with a stool so it was manageable .

Excellent!

We loved staying here! We have never stayed anywhere that the family was on the property too so we didn’t know what that would be like. The first 3 days we stayed in and unplugged, our daughter loved the pool and we enjoyed getting to see Ernie when he would pop out to take care of things about the property. The last 2 days we were with our church family to go to the ark and creation museum but knowing we had such a lovely place to end the day was wonderful! We had a couple opportunities during the trip to chat with him and Jenny and they were just precious! We truly felt right at home, we have made friends and are sure we will be back again in the future! They made sure anything we would need was taken care of! They also had fresh eggs from their chickens, cream for coffee, and hot chocolate that our daughter loved! Thank you for such a nice place to getaway!

Treated Like Family

Although we were only here one night, we can't help but give high ratings for such a wonderful property. Jenny was so responsive and quick to communicate. She is very conscientious about making sure her guests are welcomed and comfortable. The accommodations are so spacious and we felt right at home. Yes, the family was living above us, but they were very quiet and gave us space to settle in and did not attempt to intrude (which we wouldn't have minded). They thought of everything, from having firewood outside next to our own patio firepit, to the fresh cream and coffee, along with eggs and muffins for breakfast. The furniture is like what you would have in your own home, very comfortable and of excellent quality. We felt as if we were treated like family. The property sits out in the country a ways, which is wonderful for a quiet, peaceful time away. We would definitely come back.
