- Welcome to Michie Shire, your charming retreat nestled on 17 rolling acres in beautiful Lexington, Virginia. Just a short 3-mile drive from the vibrant heart of town and the historic campuses of VMI and W&L University, this privately owned haven offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience.
Step into our lovingly restored 1930s farmhouse, boasting 1800 square feet of comfortable living space, plus a versatile semi-finished basement. Imagine mornings sipping coffee on the expansive wraparound porch, soaking in the breathtaking, unobstructed views of both the majestic Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or an adventure-filled getaway, Michie Shire is your ideal base. With so much to explore both locally and in the surrounding area, you can do as little or as much as your heart desires. We're confident you'll create lasting memories here! If your beloved canine companions are joining you, please let us know. We happily welcome up to two small to medium-sized dogs, with a nominal cleaning fee to ensure everyone's comfort.
