A gorgeous cottage, the owners were lovely and extremely helpful. The views from the back were absolutely breathtaking and we loved watching the barn owl hunt on an evening. The cottage was so well equipped and we had a thoroughly comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We booked so we could take Bella our little Shihtzu away from the fireworks and she loved it so peaceful and the views amazing. The welcome gifts were lovely too. Linsey and Steve are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble and their dog Jet is gorgeous and so loveable. Can’t wait to go back.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mr & Mrs Mason are the most delightful & generous hosts. Everything is provided including wine & freshly baked scones with clotted cream on arrival. Bishopdale has lovely open views & is conveniently situated for many of The Dales attractions. Mystified Bungalow is warm & cosy with two televisions for inclement weather & outside dining on the barbecue when it's warm. We have already recommended this property to friends

A Lovely cottage, very clean and in a beautiful quiet location. The Cottage was easy to find and we were met by the owner on arrival. Every room is decorated to an individual style and everything you need is provided (even ice cubes in the freezer). We had a hectic weekend so it was great to return each evening and relax with a large V&T! Plenty of wild birds to observe including woodpeckers. The location is ideal with several pubs nearby. Would we stay here agin - yes we would.

You couldn't ask for more from a holiday let. Friendly welcome from the owner, and such a comfortable place, we felt at home almost instantly. Best aspect is the little patio garden, with beautiful views and just the sound of birds, sheep and cows. So many birds visit to feed you could watch them all day and almost forget to go sightseeing! Was great to be visited by a family of pheasants on the patio most days. Easy to find with ample parking too. I would definitely go back and stay at Mystified Bungalow again.

Great property but a car is needed to get yourself about the dales ,a lovely outlook from the back patio and although it's not huge it's does the job .The house was very clean and well equipped the owners who live next door were very welcoming and friendly ,all in all a real home from home will definitely think of returning for another break

8/10

The computer site of Mystified Bungalow apparently gives the wrong location of the cottage: not about 100 meters away from the main road, on the other site of it and uphill (as suggested), but directly adjacent to it. I had to sleep with earplugs. For older people (like us) there were no comfortable chairs on the terrass as suggested by the pictures (see also above). Therefore we bought ourselves a decent one.

Lovely bungalow with fantastic views across the hills. Great welcome from the owners with wine, cheese & milk in the fridge. Also a generously filled fruit bowl. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could possibly need. The owners were extremely friendly and available if we needed any information without encroaching on our privacy. The bungalow has been well thought out and has a lovely homely feel to it. There is also an enclosed garden for the dog.

Mystified Bungalow is 'quirky' and Lindsey and Stephen, the owners, are friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful with wildlife in abundance. The cottage is well catered with every utensil you could want (maybe a garlic press would be good?). We totally enjoyed our stay in Mystified.

This was one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few. We received a warm welcome from the owners whose attention to detail in the bungalow was excellent. There was even a welcoming bowl of biscuits for the dog. I would recommend this bungalow to anyone who is looking for a cosy, comfortable quiet base for touring the Yorkshire Dales.

Absolutely fabulous, you could not beat it if you tried. Our hosts were the most charming of people and were a delight. and then there was the Yorkshire Dales and if there was heaven on earth then this was it. We met many of the local people and were accepted as long lost friends. If only everybody were like this then we would live in a much happier world. Thank you.
