"Our stay in Amarela Resort turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Bohol. The whole place is ART. The attention to detail was astounding! The staff were all warm, friendly, and helpful. If you ever plan to stay in Amarela resort, please take the time to walk the grounds -- they have an art gallery, beautiful walkways, a library, a massage hut, a garden, an infinity pool, a magnificent view of the sunrise, etc. The surrounding area is peaceful. "The hotel staff was not mean, but they was not welcoming. The staff placed copy of my passport on the wall on a clip board for anyone that came could see my personnel information. I asked the staff the remove the copy of my passport from the wall, but they refused. My room smelled like mold. Plus, no one clean my room for my entire reservation. They are better affordable places in the area. I would not recommend anyone this place."

"terrible stay. staff were rude, rooms were not clean at all. these furnitures need upgrade. some chairs were even spotted with bloods...dining at the hotel is pricey and small portion. I was not able to get a taxi because it is too far away from the main street. I will never go back to this hotel again"

"The road leading to the building was not clearly marked and it was very narrow. Also, my group was disappointed to learn the pool was being renovated and not available during our stay. The hotel should have clearly indicated on their site that their pool was unavailable. Everything else was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and I had a nice peaceful stay."

"Our stay at Danbi resort was not particularly pleasant. The staff were very friendly and always wanting to help. The common areas were small but very pretty and relaxing. The environment was quiet too. Bed was VERY comfortable! One of the best we’ve stayed on. Unfortunately the rest was not so good. The breakfast was vial; no choices the staff just gave us every possible thing and it tasted terrible. We didn’t want most of it. Consider integrating a menu so people can decide what they want...
