The domaine is close to the river and the small town of Branne, well located to get to Saint Emilion and a few other nice villages. Most of all though we just enjoyed relaxing on site on the terrace and pool. We also loved the miniature donkeys! Just so you know when booking, the jacuzzi and sauna are not included and cost an extra €75 per session."

"My Granddaughter, Daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights before heading onto Verteillac, It really is a great little apartment to stay in. I slept on the sofa bed which was really comfortable and my daughter said that the double bed was comfortable too. The aircon was very welcome in the heat and a fan was provided for the upstairs bedroom. The facilities were very decent with a small induction hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. "We spent three lovely nights at this adorable and perfectly located hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. La Tour Intendance is exactly the type of place we enjoy staying when visiting cities in France and Europe in general. It is quaint with historic features and feels very much part of the historic part of Bordeaux. Its location is a short walk from the nearest Tram line (to the airport or other parts of the city), and to explore the city on foot. The street itself, while only a few moments walk from busier roads and the old town, is a beautiful curved primarily pedestrian street. This was especially enjoyable while sitting at their outside tables with a coffee or a bottle of wine. The staff are absolutely lovely. I made an enquiry before even booking and received a timely and helpful response regarding the possibility/process for a late check in. In person everyone we interacted with were a delight. We will stay here again without question the next time we visit Bordeaux."
