"Upon arrival although couldn’t get the electric charger to work the hotel itself was perfect for what we needed and the next morning the man on reception couldn’t have done enough for me changing rooms for my daughter so she could stay in the one she was in - excellent customer service would stay again no hesitation "

"Great stay whilst we were at an event at NEC. Arrived at checkin which was very friendly and efficient. Room was pleasent - big bed, slight odd (sort of square rather then rectangle) pillows, very comfortable but had to change my normal sleeping position to accomadate it. Bed was perfect! Bathroom nice a clean and plenty of hot water for showers. Location was great - we walked into town for dinner, in under 5 minutes there was a huge choice of eateries. We had breakfast in the morning, decent quality, good choice of food, friendly service. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again if we're in the area. "

"I clearly stayed when Crufts was on, I think I should have been told this when I booked, the hotel is dog friendly which is great but there were a lot of dogs at the hotel and they were barking both outside and in the rooms which disturbed my sleep before a long early morning flight. Rooms were clean but starting to look dated and in need of an upgrade. "

"Excellent service at check in. Really made us feel welcomed. Service at bar was fantastic especially when the woman went out of her way for a glass of milk."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clarance, the staff were all friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Michelin star in house restaurant. The cobblestoned old town with its multiple dining options and lovely little shops is walkable, making it a great location. "
