We could not expect anything better while staying at Ripplewood in Lijang, Yunnam, China. We were treated like part of their family. Every morning we had free breakfast and every time we were gaven Flower Cake, a famous local dissert cake made of flower paddles, after coming back from a tour in ancient cities. The unit we stayed is a loft, so my kids stayed at the loft and we stayed at the first floor, which gave us a planty of space. The bathroom is newly remodeled with an advanced toilet and...

Amazing staff and they take care of you. I have never seen such friendly staff!

Nice

大管家-萱萱“真的是非常热情贴心，对客户照顾得非常周到。我们从心里十分感激她的帮助。

I stayed in the Suite at Hotel Indigo Lijiang Ancient Town, and it was truly remarkable. The traditional courtyard is gorgeous, quiet, and feels like a peaceful haven—yet it’s just a 5-minute walk to everything in the ancient town. The suite itself is top-notch: comfortable, spacious, and beautifully designed with local character. From the moment I checked in, the staff's warmth and hospitality were incredible. Unfortunately, a bad hit of altitude sickness meant I was in no condition to enjoy the...

I booked to stay in this hotel by customers reviews in this app. Although the price to stay is on the higher side, but I think it's worth. The location is right in the center of the ancient town. However, this is a little crowded. If you don't mind the crowd. But if you are strictly for peace of mind, relaxing holiday than you better pick a hotel out of this location. The customer service in this hotel was great and food was good too.

The staff was very helpful

Loved the hotel, excellent stay, environment, and Lijiang Old Town is walkable with many anemities. Definitely recommend. Staff is friendly, very friendly and quick to respond.

Conveniently located in the Old Town. But climbing up the stairs carrying luggages is very challenging for the seniors. It is not recommended for the seniors/people with mobility problems.

Very classical Chinese design with excellent wood and stone work all around. Located 3 minutes away from the old town entrance. Had a great time there.

We spent one night before flying out of China. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite our language barrier. They also arranged transportation to the airport. Breakfast offered American as well as Chinese options.

Good location and walkable to the old town

What can I say. I loved the hotel and staff. Yang is very helpful and speaks excellent English. He met me on the street where my taxi dropped me off and took me up to the hotel (it is up some stairs) and carried my suitcase for me. He will provide you with a map of Old Town Lijiang and explain how to reach the various locations. The hotel is nice with a lovely courtyard and my room had a view of the Snow Mountain as well as the landing outside my room. The hotel has 2 floors, so no...

Wonderful room and staff. Beautiful property,

A little on the pricey side compared to other hotels in the area but highly recommended and convenient! We had tea with the owner and his family, they were all very nice to us. The room was very clean and comfortable with great amenities. You can schedule an airport drop off if needed and the location is inside the old city but has a shortcut to the main road where the taxi/private car pickup is at.
