"This property was lovely. We booked it as a last minute âwe need a room tonightâ, and it accommodated us well. They are clearly going thru renovations- we were looking for a yellow building and it is now dark green. Our room was large but a bit outdated. The air conditioning was wonderful! It is advertised as with a pool, but what they had was not what we would consider a pool (it was more the size of a hot tub or so). "This hotel exceeded in every way. A gem. Very clean, family run. Same family also runs a great restaurant next door. Hotel is newer and very clean, great breakfast. We loved the place. Definitely would consider staying there again. Note: When mapping the location, be sure to use the town name of Pfahlheim, not Ellwangen."

"We have now been twice and it is a real treat to stay at the hotel. The attention to detail and the service minded staff makes you feel more than welcome. The spa, pool and gym areas are perfect not to mention the beautiful views. The breakfast is amazing and you always wish that you had more "space". The hotel restaurant reflects the hotel. I can't recomment this hotel enough. We will keep coming back."
