"We had a highly enjoyable stay at Jean-Pierre and Basanti's place. They have almost singlehandedly created a little oasis of calm in the hills, right down to planting all the grass, trees, vegetables and plants on the property; as well as building both houses!It was more like being hosted by family than a commercial transaction. As well as being on-hand to make sure we had everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly tolerant and welcoming of our children wanting to run around, explore, and participate in their outdoor work.Other reviewers noted the pool is a short walk from the house. This is a definite plus with small children.We'd definitely stay agin."

"Villa was lovely and very well equipped. Outside space was poorer, the area around the pool was rough and unfinished. Garden at back was full of weeds. Contact with the owner was by text which was answered quickly but he was not in the country and we had no contact number for his on site representative as we missed her on arrival due to being delayed. Our first night was spent listening to a bleeping burglar alarm which we couldn’t stop and the owner was unable to help us. Fortunately it stopped in the morning Our villa had no cleaning service and the pool was not attended to for the 2 weeks of our stay, the owner advised us to use the robot cleaner ourselves which we didn’t want to do in case we damaged it. A lack of communication with the on the ground person was a problem."

"Amazing room but lots of confusion with booking payment and breakfast was a mess . I hit there at 830 to find a disaster of a room with almost nothing to eat but a croissant and coffee . Plus lots of flies . But hotel room was large and so nice with great bed so if they just fix a few things it be great for them and guests "
