"The evening meal was superb. Breakfast was frugal; we had to ask for croissants since none were left after other diners had taken 2 each whereupon the owner brought my wife and I a croissant each on a tray."

"Love this place and the house but the beds are too firm. If the beds were softer then it would be a solid 10/10 the pool hasn’t been available when we have been in April and October. "The hotel had friendly and polite staff. Lots of amenities available e.g tennis court, crazy golf, table tennis and bikes available if wishing to cycle within the surrounding area. There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were also an issue in the hotel, mainly in the restaurant with the waiting staff using fly swats! However, I must point out that during the final 24-36 hours of our 4 day stay, flies were minimal so not sure how they all seemed to disappear. A much more pleasurable experience thereafter. Food was fantastic and large portions served. Lift and stairs available to all floors. Air conditioning in rooms which were spotless with shuttered windows to keep out the sun and heat. "
