"The cabin was clean and exactly how it appears online. Very comfortable. The outside sitting and bbq was a great place to unwind and grill after a long week. Enjoyed the quietness and sounds of nature. There was a hiking book available to explore areas around the area. Great little cabin. Would definitely come back."

"The property has 4 short flights of steps which are more ladders. It will be challenging for anyone with mobility issues and/or small children. Holter is full of algae in late summer, fishing is still good but no one will want to get in the water. It is a one-person kitchen. The A-frame-type roof makes ceiling very close to bed, so watch your head. Holter Lake is a beautiful setting, but with all the additional charges, the price point is very high for the property."

This location and genuine hospitality of a safe and classy craft home represented every part of my first memories as a boy...mixes in with 21st century convenience. The kindly and thoughtful percs far outdid anything I ever experienced in my global tavels. HIGHY RECOMMENDED!!"

"Very clean house. The location was beautiful. The online description is very accurate in regards to the wildlife mounts. One thing to note is that the house was great for us because we spent very little time there. If you are looking for a space to spend an amount of time at it is not laid out in a functional way due to all of the wildlife mounts. There is also no stave and a very small refrigerator. As I mentioned though, for the amount of time we spent at the actual house is was great for us!"

"Beautiful peaceful property with a clean cabin. Fun having the airport close by to watch the planes take off and land. It was mostly quiet except for at night when a large group of dogs would bark. Weather was cool so we could close the windows and were able to sleep. We had an amazing time making memories with our family at Talcott’s Landing."

"I'll preface this to say that this location isn't for everyone; if you're one that needs fast food, Walmarts, and other "necessities" of civilization, you probably wouldn't like staying here. Having said that, it was perfect for us! It has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. The views are awesome, with brilliant sunrises and sunsets. There are also pronghorn, deer, and rabbit visits, not to mention the local herd of Angus. Although the cabin is remote, it is only a 3 hour drive...

"This cabin is in a beautiful valley with deer in the meadow every morning. It may be a bit rugged for some travellers, and some things could have been in better shape. But it worked perfectly for our needs while visiting my elderly father in Helena."

"Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect place for us to explore a new part of Montana, as well as just relaxing out on the deck or floating the river. If we are ever back in the area we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
