The view was spectacular, hotel right on the beach. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast was a continental with bagels and croissants, yogurt, some instant oatmeal, nothing to write home about, but nice. A few added things like fresh baked cookies between 5-7pm. Pool was small but nice.

Great stay at Pelican Shores! The room was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful view and awesome balcony. All the staff were helpful, kind and considerate. The property is beautifully maintained and clean. The pool was a good temp, too. Breakfast was a good start on the day. We'll be back!

We stayed at Pelican Shores in Lincoln City, OR before Memorial weekend. We stayed in a unit with a kitchenette, fireplace and view of the ocean with a deck. We had easy access to the beach. The motel was clean, staff cheerful and helpful and served breakfast each morning. A outdoor, but enclosed swimming pool was close to the motel. We recommend Pelican Shores to anyone visiting the coast.

So we would definitely go back to this hotel again. We liked that it was really, really clean and that the view was unbeatable ...... Whales even ! Kitchenette was well provisioned. Beach access was great. Front desk staff very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was kind of minimal, but we have discovered that this is a common situation all up and down the Oregon coast , for what that's worth. The one thing we found impacted our stay was the thinness of the walls and ceiling. This probably wouldn't have mattered that much, except that we were on the ground floor and the family directly above us allowed their younger (heavy-footed) child to race around the suite during the evening. One of the nights the parents were out until midnight, probably at the casino, and the child did not stop the running until they got home at midnight! So if we go back we will ask for a top floor suite.

Lovely property. Room I booked did not work for us due to stairs. They found us another room that met our needs. When the person below was smoking amd it was coming into our room they politely informed them where the smnoking areas were. I smoking pressed with their professional handling without causing any bad feelings with the guests. The pool area is lovely. We will be back.

Excellent stay! The views were amazing. We stayed in the fireplace suite, I think it was called, and we will definitely be back. Staff was absolutely amazing. The only thing that I didn’t really like is, I had a blind person traveling with me, and all of the uneven steps down to the beach was kind of a bummer. Oh, and there was only two handicap parking spaces, and the parking lot was very small, so it was really hard to get in and out of.
