The Lincoln Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Lincoln hotel is very centrally located, a great place to stay for exploring the historic centre of Lincoln. It is very peaceful and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A good breakfast selection too."
Damon's Hotel

"Simply stay motel. Nice room, just the broken pipe of the shower make the water weaker"
Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel & Spa

"Booked my elderly disabled parents in at the hotel. Olivia on the front desk was very friendly and helpful with the booking process, making sure they were in a suitable ground floor room. The room was lovely and clean. My parents couldn’t operate the heater so went to ask Olivia to help them and she cans straight away and altered the settings for them so they were warm enough. Will definitely book them in to stay there again when they next come to Lincoln to visit"
Holiday Inn Express Lincoln City Centre by IHG

"As expected comfortable bed and a good night sleep. Everything was clean therefore no issues at all"
Tattershall Lakes Country Park
8/10 Good
"We have just arrived back from and 2 night stay at Tattershall. The place itself is amazing with so much to do for every age but the upholstery and carpet ( living and dining area) was absolutely disgusting. The sofa had big stains on it which made you reluctant to sit on it and the same with the carpet. These were not new stains but ground in dirty filthy stains. Absolutely disgusting. Luckily we did not spend much time in the caravan. The bedrooms, bedding and kitchen are were great. We reported this when checking out but unfortunately all we got was a "SORRY" not good enough. No 53 larch View avoid at all costs"

"I was asked to phone the property on arrival about parking but the number I had was a call centre, but they gave me the direct number (this was a bit of a faff as I was parked precariously on a double yellow so having the direct number in advance would have been helpful). It turns out that you can't always park on the property - they give you a residents parking permit and send you off to look for a space. It very steep hills around the property, so be aware and accept the offer to take your luggage from you unless you fancy a bit of a work out! Amber welcomed me well and I was taken to my room which was good, stylish and well equipped. The walk into the main town and cathedral was only about 5 minutes. I managed to get a map from tourist information as they did not have one at the property. I slept ok and there was no noise from other rooms. Breakfast food was good and lots of choice but the atmosphere was a bit frantic; we were sat on large tables together with other guests and people were coming and going the whole time and talking on their phones and to each other across the table which is great if you like that first thing. If like me you like a peaceful breakfast....no chance. The view across Lincoln was lovely. Check out was non-existent. I had eaten a chocolate bar from the fridge but there was no-one around to tell/pay. I walked to my car with my luggage, got my permit, drove back to hand it in and still no one around. I left it on the table. I owe you for the choc!"

"Shame it doesn't have parking for everyone and being told you will be fined if you use the wrong space. Had to park on the street a fare way from the property, but other than that a pleasant place."
