Lovely boutique hotel with modern stylish furnishings and en suite. Staff were very polite and helpful. Evening meal at the hotel was delicious with lots of good flavours. Excellent central location for visits to Cathedral and Castle. Convenient parking across the road from the hotel with 24 hour parking option.

The location is excellent for the castle and cathedral. It’s an old building and therefore not ‘flashy’ but it has character. We received a friendly welcome and the staff team were very helpful. It’s a great base for visiting the old town. We did not have the time to see the town down the hill. You may have to park in the car park opposite and pay, as the hotel car park is quite small but there is space to drop off a guest if needed and then to park.

A well-maintained building with character, a comfy bed and a good hot shower, and a very good breakfast in the morning. Ideally placed to walk to Lincoln's historic sites without needing to climb the infamous Steep Hill, and with friendly and helpful staff. We'd definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent - so close to the castle and cathedral. There are two very good real ale pubs just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to get free parking the whole of the week. The weather was hot, so air-conditioning would have been nice, although its a listed building so probably a challenge.
