The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean. The restaurant area is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I really thought the breakfast was outstanding and very tasty with a large selection on the menu. The staff were lovely and very accommodating . I would highly recommend . Please note however there was no lift and the stairs could cause inconvenience to some guests.

A very nice hotel centrally located. We had a very nice stay here which included an evening meal (paid for locally) and breakfast (included in the price) The room wasn't large, but big enough for us

I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.

My room overlooking the castle walls was spotless. However, the furnishings and decor were a little exhausted looking there and in public areas. The vegetarian breakfast was outstanding. Good quality ingredients and piping hot.

Best Hotel Stay for Ages!

Very impressed by all on offer. Room booked, first class value. Evening meal excellent As was breakfast. Have not had such attentive and prompt restaurant service "for many a year"! Hotel situation close to cathedral and castle. The reason for visit. Also close to long term parking as hotel does not have places for cars.
