I stayed 3 nights. My experience with the property is very positive. 3 decent restaurants are located next to it. 15-20 min drive to Franconia State park. Although it is located next to busy Kancamagus hwy, it is relatively quiet ( request room in West lodge). The beds are very comfortable. The room is dated, but very clean. Daniel,the hostess, is excellent.

Recently stayed for 3 nights. Front desk staff was great and offered me an early check in. Location is great, many good food options right next door(Common Man, Lincoln diner, Black Mtn Burger, Pub 32). The reason why I stayed there is b/c I LOVE the Grateful Skier, bar in basement of hotel. Good beer selection, owner Eric and bartenders are great people. And great live music on weekends. Smashburger at Grateful Skier was very good! Only negative was the smell of my hotel room upon arriving. Shower pressure was great though, a nice bonus. All in all, would def stay there again.

Easy check in, staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are dated but they are clean. Great water pressure in shower. Pool is nice and pool room is very nice and warm. Wish there wasn't a window for everyone entering the restaurant to look at you while in the pool. Also the rooms do not have microwave in them (one available in office but only during hours open) I would say if they purchased some small microwaves during black Friday deals would greatly improve the rooms. All in all we enjoy our stay here we have been here twice and plan on heading back soon!

Staff was lovely. Great mom and pop feel. No crappy answering services just real people. Location is good. Unfortunately those were the only things we really liked. Biggest complaint was the cleanliness. There were multiple kinds of bugs that seem to be infesting the pipes, including silver fish. That's a bit of a deal breaker for me.

It was a very comfortable stay. They were very courteous and friendly staff there. The restaurant across the street and at the lodge were very popular and the food was great at both places. We went to ice castles and it was very close to there. And the pool was a definite plus& all had a great time! We'll revisit again.
