"This adorable cabin is cozy and perfect for a get-away to enjoy a beautiful and peaceful VT setting. The cabin has everything you could need - well-stocked and comfortable despite its small size. The host was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again! "

"Our stay was wonderful! The cabin feels remote, but it is easy to find. Every detail is so well curated that it would be wonderful to live there! The hosts were lovely and excellent communicators. Left us a welcoming note, as well as Vermont-made goodies: cheese, crackers and chocolates.The stone fireplace is the star of the show! There were stacks of dry wood on the porch, fireplace tools and a well drawing chimney. Right across from the cabin is a babbling(rushing while we were there) brook, with chairs to sit to enjoy. There are many books available for times when we were ready to cozy up in front of the fire. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We spent two weeks traveling New England. Focusing on VT, Maine & RI. 5 days were spent at the Mad River Lodge. Although all the places we stayed were all very nice - none of them left us with the feeling of home away from home like MRL did. The main lobby and opportunity to meet other travellers was very enjoyable. The whole place felt peaceful and homey and would absolutely stay there again."
