"Our family of 7 enjoyed our vacation over Christmas at this property. The owners were wonderfully kind to communicate with, rent from, and decorated for the holiday so my daughters would feel welcome. The space is wonderful for a large family or perhaps for 2-3 smaller groups. I would definitely rent again. I would highly recommend in the spring and summer as I’m sure the garden is amazingly beautiful—it was even enjoyable in December. Thank you again, Barkeys!"

"Die Lage des Doppelhauses war äußerst empfehlenswert. Ruhig und kein Autoverkehr. Ausgangspunkt für sehr schöne Radtouren. Gutes Kartenmaterial von dem Touristbüro des Ortes GEESTE. Mit 4 Ehepaaren war die Aufteilung der Häuser (jeweils 2 Bäder / 1 Sauna ) optimal. Das WLAN Netz war, wie auch die TV Versorgung, mehr als aureichend. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. (Alles inclusiv !)"

It is a very spacious cottage, converted from an old farm building, in the grounds of a small hotel. The setting is very rural, and therefore peaceful. Nearest village is 2-3 km away. "Als wir ankamen war es schon dunkel. Wir stellten unser Auto ab und da sahen wir schon die schönen bunten Lichter im Garten. Im Haus war eine LED Kerze an und Celebrations für den Abend lagen auf dem Tisch .Das Haus ist einfach nur klasse. Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und auch alles da was man braucht. "Our family stayed two months at this property and found the owners incredibly kind and accommodating. We do not speak German and the owners helped us by making dinner reservations and other appointments when necessary. They spent an afternoon showing us downtown Rheine so we knew where everything was located. The house was exactly like it appeared in the photos. It was immaculately clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, linens, toilet paper, soap, dishes, pots, silverware, etc. The home...
