Declining standards

Spa & Gym were closed for repairs, clogged drains in bathroom. Declining standards evident throughout - damaged rugs, lightbulbs needed replacing, scuff marks on doors and walls. Good food and reasonably comfortable room but nothing exceptional.

The hotel is located within 4 minute walk to bus stops and to the city center. The breakfast and afternoon fika are great. The dinner is okay and there is plenty of salad and soup to keep hunger at bay. The room was clean. When checking in, the hotel staff informed us that the keycards were not working due to a system malfunction, but this issue was fixed the following Monday morning. The hotel lobby is a relaxing and welcoming place, and there is free coffee available throughout the day!

We had a good time there, although a bit walk from the train station, but it was very good option between the city center and the old town.

I booked this room 2 months ago, paid almost €400 aand I’m a frequent visitor at BestWestern and I’m a gold member in Hotels.com. Therefore I would have expected something better than a dark room in the basement with shower one level down. After this visit I can’t recommend BestWestern to anyone!

Bra med garage i källaren, vi brukar gilla att bo här,så därför bokade vi och på plats fick vi info att relaxen var avstängd. Fanns inget om det på hemsidan eller på hotell.com. Då hade det blivit annat hotell.
