"So convenient - 2 restaurants in the hotel, then up early and walk over to the Schiphol terminals - you don’t even need to take a shuttle- it is literally an escalator ride away. And the price point is correct!"

"We stayed at the wonderful Eye Hotel for seven nights in July. We were so happy we chose this hotel as our home base as we toured Utrecht and did day trips to Amsterdam, Delft, and more. The Eye Hotel is in a great area which we found to be very central and within walking distance of amenities. Slightly tucked away on a quieter street, it was nice to be away from the noisy areas but still feel like we were in a hip spot. The hotel and room itself were wonderful! Very clean and more than enough room for two - we stayed on the second floor. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Although we didn’t have the breakfast which looked great, the free lattes and cappuccinos in the morning were a great way to start the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again in the near future."

"My mom and I stayed at the Ruby for 3 nights, we absolutely loved it! Be ware this hotel does not have AC. However, they did offer us fans because our room was too warm for us. The halls and lobby area were perfectly cooled. The bar was great, offering seasonal cocktails and a nice bar staff. Charlie and Nina served us most often, and they were very kind. Checking in was easy. They held our bags while we waited for our room to be ready and, we explored the area. The market was about a 30 to 40 minute walk. Bolt was our preferred method of transportation and there are bikes for rent. The tram station is also very close to the hotel and there is a small store right around the corner."

"Surprised as to the size of the room, it was very small. The bathroom pod that was part of the tiny room was also awkward in that the door would not close all the way and water easily went onto the floor outside of the shower area. Sufficient for the purpose of staying one night close to the airport."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, which offered an upscale, clean environment for our three night in Amsterdam as a family of five. We booked two “superior” rooms. Although they don’t have connecting rooms, they were located next to each other. The rooms were well appointed and modern, and everything was comfortable. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of reasons. First, we were confronted with some hidden fees that were not included in the hotels.com price (a city tax). Second, the nearby metro was closed and I don’t recall seeing any warning of that in the posting. Finally, the breakfast was fantastic, but pricey and not included in our room rate. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, particularly if it remains cheaper than some of the options more centrally located."

"Good location for us with easy access to the centre. Staff really good and hotel very clean. Would've preferred there to be more breakfast available for our son with nut allergies especially when we advised the hotel when we booked. Raw nuts and nut products meant high risk of contamination."

"Nicely located by the airport. Staff really helpful, carpark practical but train station at walkable distance so practical as well. Breakfast buffet was great and restaurant was good."
