"Good breakfast options, well priced rooms were adequate although the lack of air conditioning in the room was noticeable in the heatwave! Staff were helpful and a good location to explore from. Fairly basic but we had a nice stay."

"Hotel was everything you would expect and staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't eat there or use the Spa, so can't comment. One thing that reduces the score to 4 out of 5 is the somewhat disingenuous approach to parking facilities: offering Hotel parking in the basement of the multistorey car park overnight for £18, but if you park on any other level, it's £6.60... Discovered this because the Hotel section of the car park was full - it's not a massive amount of money, but to some it would make a difference."

"It’s a good hotel and I recommend it. The rooms aren’t too well insulated corridor wise so it cam be a bit noisy with people passing…suggest asking for a room at the end of the corridor if that’s an issue. Pools are good as are the facilities"

"Lovely stay for my birthday food was great rooms were lovely staff were friendly only a couple of minor things we got back late and the car park was full managed to get the last space thankfully but maybe bare that in mind, then our neighbours were up till 4 am they weren’t being extra loud but we could hear them (not hotels fault) and the lastly we put the “refresh room” sign on our door and when we got back from day out it hadn’t been done so had to go to reception to ask for more tea and coffee for room"

"This is a beautiful small hotel only 15 min from The University of Surrey, where I was helping settle my daughter for grad school (we are from New York). We loved the hotel lobby, the pools and hot tub and spa area, and the room was lovely. I wish the desk staff had provided a list of spa services and let us know about use of the pools (hours and such), we had to google the info. We also would have appreciated a self service coffee and late night snack area on the premises. We arrived late, the restaurant was closed and we ordered food to be delivered. The decor is so classic and beautiful and the gardens and indoor plants are amazing. I would stay here again when visiting the University."

"At the price point for the hotel it is pretty good. It does look like it is trapped in Time, it’s a bit dated. The staff were all really helpful and friendly both bar staff and reception. They have a pool table (bring change) and a dart board. I would stay here again with a group of friends, however I wouldn’t stay if I was with my Wife (as she has higher standards)"
