We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped). There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...

The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

Montebelo is located in the Chiado neighborhood of Lisbon. Montebelo is a beautiful newly renovated hotel in a historical building. Situated close to Many restaurants, walking distance from the river and Timeout market.

The Alegria is pleasant, charming hotel in an older part of the city. We had stayed at a large chain hotel further from the city center for four days, then visited Porto for three, and we chose the Alegria for a final night in Lisbon before flying home. We took advantage of a great deal on this hotel through Expedia on a wonderful corner suite on the third floor, for less than we would have paid for almost any 3- or 4-star hotel in a good part of the city that week in September, which is...

Very peaceful, friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms, good breakfast with very attentive staff and the woman at the front desk, Uni, was one of the most kind and helpful as was the morning server of coffee...I feel badly I have forgotten his name! The location was very nice, walkable, Bolt rides were inexpensive to/from the airport and there was very close and easy access to busing and trains. I was especially impressed with the room window closures and the ability to nearly completely darken...

Excellent hotel, very clean and new. Very good sound isolation so rooms are quiet. Good Windows too that do a great job blocking out some of the plane flyovers and vehicle flowcan occur in the neighborhood. Very good location, right in front of the Metro stop. On top of it all the breakfast is very good.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice mini bar supplies, close to everything. Great advice for food locations. Would definitely go back.
