We liked everything about this charming hotel. It is in a Great location, with a park across the street. There was a veryProfessional concierge, Cristina, who was very helpful,compassionate, and knowledgeable. Rita was great as well. It was a lovely experience, stepping back in time. Nice location but some street noise from traffic. We had a double room on the front facing the street. Good view to the park. Nice high ceilings but makes every sound echo in the space, including creaking floors and sounds from other rooms. The pillows could be more comfortable as the ones we had were hard. Price and location were the main positives but not sure we'd stay again at our next visit.

If you’re used to four- or five-star hotels, you may want to think twice before booking this one. I read the reviews beforehand, and I fully agree with those who mentioned the property’s shortcomings. The “continental breakfast” was extremely minimalistic—what continent have they been to where this counts as breakfast? The spiral staircase between the first and second floors were never lit, so guests had to use their phone flashlights to make sure they didn’t trip and fall. And good luck if you have luggage to carry upstairs. On the positive side, the reception staff genuinely tried to make my stay comfortable. All three of them (Cristina, Laila and Rita) were consistently helpful and accommodating with every request—my sincere thanks to each of them!

The Casa Do Príncipe is on a fabulous location within walking distance to many parks and excellent restaurants. The room was clean, the breakfast was enjoyable and the air conditioning worked very well. We would definitely return!

This historic hotel was a good choice. Located in a very walkable area across from a nice park. Hotel Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were beautiful! Breakfast was very good! I would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location/neighborhood. The staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I wish our stay was longer. If we are able to return,, I would definitely book with Casa du Principe! Many thanks to all the staff members who assisted us during our stay!
