"Property is gorgeous and I was drawn to it being part of the old castle. But it is up on the Alana hill and not all taxi or Uber drivers will take you all the way to hotel. Book airport shuttle service through the hotel if possible. There are also peacocks around the hotel that are very loud and act like a roaster waking you up early in the morning. Staff was great. Very attentive and helpful "

"The hotel is centrally located in a very nice and safe part of Lisbon. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast delicious and available amenities very nice. The only issue we ran into was that the restaurant recommendations from the staff were terrible. Do NOT eat at Gina’s - some of the worst food of the trip."

"Property was right in the middle of all the sights we wanted to see. Seems a bit crazy outside because its a very touristy area, but the inside of the hotel is very nice and well kept. Rooms were a bit small but very clean. "

"The staff were very friendly and were helpful in accommodating for an early check-in as well as securing two cribs for us. The place is ideal considering it has multiple restaurants nearby (the property itself has a restaurant), Placa de Rossio is right around the corner, and a metro station is only a few min walking. Would stay here again. "
