Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Whilst the property seems a little run down in some aspects the staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were quiet with comfortable beds and opportunity to kayak was enjoyed.
A country lodge. Popular with Tauck tours. Chefs in the kitchen were a highlight with good flavor and fresh ingredients. Good hiking on trails leading from the lodge. Indoor pool and dock for canoes, etc. offers a harbor tour by pontoon but engine was out of order.
The hotel and rooms were very outdated. An upgrade is well needed. Food in the restaurant and service were good. And the free use of the canoes and bikes etc. was nice
We really liked the waiter Tony in the dining room. He went above what one would expect to make your dining experience pleasant. We liked the heat pumps in the cottage.

Nice view Needs updating
Needs updating. Restaurant was good. Nice view of river. Bed was horrible, sunk into it.
Secluded, great food. Very clean rooms. We are already planning another trip. This time we will be bringing more family members so they can also enjoy this wonderful property.
Good selection of activities, great location, clean and comfortable room, great food. Hiking trail was not fully accessible while we were there due to recent heavy rains, but there was plenty of other things to keep us occupied.
