"We really enjoyed our stay at Ibis Budget Bayeux. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English for those who like me have a limited knowledge of French. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. Breakfast was a typical self serve continental breakfast, with plenty of choice available. The only disappointment was that the wasn’t a kettle in the room to make a drink, although there was a machine in the foyer for hot drinks; great if you are a coffee drinker but not so good if you like tea! Perfect location for getting into Bayeux by car, it’s about a 7 minute drive to the centre and is easily found on leaving the main road. We would definitely stay again if we return to Bayeux. "

"There are many things that are wonderful about the Hotel Le Lion d'Or, but I must first complement the staff. Everyone we met were so warm and friendly. We visited in January and the fire was always burning which was pleasant. The room was spacious with everything needed. The restaurant was outstanding and we highly recommend it. "
