"The stay was EXCELLENT! Rooms were clean and quiet and well appointed. They even gave you bath salts for the in room hot tub and made swan towels for the bed! Free breakfast was plentiful and well stocked! The gentleman running the breakfast area was helpful and very friendly! Pool, hot tub and sauna where clean and worked well. Everyone, right down to the cleaning staff was friendly! They need to take some of the cleaning staff and put them to work in the restaurant. Great food but they seem really short staffed there and slow. Overall GREAT WEEKEND!"

"The view from the porch is worth every penny, plus being able to enjoy the stars in the hot tub was an extravagant addition. You don't have to leave the house to enjoy the beautiful nature of the area. The house is clean and homey with each room stocked with everything you may need. The location is fantastic so you can travel to the Porcupine Mountains, Lake Superior, or Lake Gogebic with convenience. After a long day, the bed was so comfortable, a hotel bed could not compare."

"The beach access at this property is truly incredible. The views are breathtaking, and it was amazing to not have to leave the property for the beach experience. Walks on the beach were a hit with the entire family. We even saw some shooting stars while enjoying the fire pit! The proximity to the Porcupine Mountains also can’t be beat. This property gives you access to an unbeatable outdoor experience. The house is very spacious and has a lot to offer. We appreciated the toy closet and books for the kids. There was also a high chair, which made our stay easier. There were plenty of beds for our family and sufficient seating for meals. The host is extremely responsive as we reached out with questions about the house as one of our family members has some limited mobility.We had a few areas of feedback that we felt were also important to share. When we arrived, there was no extra toilet paper in the bathrooms. The host was very apologetic and quick to respond when we messaged! As a couple other reviews noted, there is some mold around the showers. The bathrooms also have a musty smell. The beds have older, worn mattresses and aren’t all the most comfortable. Finally, the grill was nearly unusable, luckily the fire pit is incredible and there are roasting sticks outside. Overall an incredible experience. The house could use some love, but the beach and forest experience makes up for any shortcomings."
