"My husband and I have stayed at the Rainbow Lodging cabins multiple times. The cabins are very clean, extremely cozy, and well maintained. Brandi and Matt are wonderful hosts. They are attentive but not intrusive and have done a great job of providing all the amenities you can think of for a comfortable stay. A perfect "home away from home" to come back to after hiking in the Porkies, chasing waterfalls, or rock hunting along the Superior shoreline."

"This is a ski resort from the '60's that has been recently refurbished. It was perfect for our overnight stay to visit the Porcupine Mountains. Our room was in the main building on the first floor and was updated and clean, quiet in the offseason of September, and the mattress was very comfortable. With the included breakfast of homemade scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola bars, we found it to be a good value. We also highly recommend the Iron Nugget restaurant in Hurley for dinner - excellent food, service, and ambience - a hidden gem."
