"Overall the hotel and our stay was fabulous, as it's a modern, clean and quite funky hotel within easy walking distance to the City Centre. Very good breakfast and great service from both reception staff and breakfast team. The only thing that needs addressing is the non-working accessability lift at the front doors. This is taped off and looks to have been out of service for a while. There are instructions to go in via the ramp at the car park but that is around the back. My Mum is in her 80s and stairs are hard, let alone those with wider mobility issues and/or prams. Also note internal floors can involve stairs, dependant on which room you have (two buildings connected I think) so if this is an issue please contact the hotel in advance to request a room before the stairs portion of the hotel. Finally, we loved the beer/wine theme of the hotel. Cheers!"

"Only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the check staff tried to charge me for a booking I had already paid for - good job I was on the ball and had a receipt to prove. Room was great (albeit hot) and breakfast was also great, lovely restaurant staff, would definitely recommend and location was also a bonus."
