"Just a quick overnight stop for us, so didn’t make much use of the facilities. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, shower was good. Communication with owner was excellent, including her finding some jewellery that we’d left and posting it on to us."

"We had a lovely weekend staying in a comfortable, well appointed house. The surrounding lakes and walks were beautiful. The only negative we had was better signage was needed for the properties, ie HOWELLS MERE NOS 1-40 for example. It was a little difficult finding our rental even using the map provided. This DID NOT spoil our holiday though."

"We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. There was ample seating throughout, though the sofas didn’t quite accommodate all 7 at once. Onsite...

"Our stay at Mill Village 75 was nothing short of perfect. Nestled on the largest lake within the Lower Mill Estate, this charming cottage offered the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. The location couldn't have been better—our teenagers had a fantastic time with easy access to the lake for water sports, which kept them entertained throughout our stay.
