Traveling from the USA , this is the second time we have stayed here visiting family in the area, great location , food and staff.

Unique place. Great stay for privacy and comfort

Public area welcoming. Quick check in. Nice comfortable room. Quite large. Comfy bed. Plastic on bottom of shower door needed a good clean as did around the taps but the rest of the room/bathroom was spotless. The desk had quite a few chips. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening with great service. Good breakfast

Property managed to get it just right! Super historical and atmospheric yet still very comfortable. The bed was cozy and the rooms quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay here again. Breakfast was made to order and excellent! Parking was tight yet present and free. Hotel was 3 blocks from city center and 2 blocks from cathedral. Perfect placement. Do yourself a favor and choose to stay here!!

Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. Everything about this place is great - from the bistro to the bar to the rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating beyond expectation. Highly recommend this place if you ever visit Winchester.

It was everything we expected and more. Wonderful time in Romsey.

Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious. However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat. A+ regardless.

This hotel was a perfect find. We wanted to stay near, but not in, Southampton for a cruise the next day. and we happened upon this gem. It is in the heart of a very quaint, clean little village, perfect for relaxing after flying over from the US. The staff was exceptional
