"Amazing hotel with amazing amenities. The room got hot and wouldn't cool off, but aside from that this was an amazing stay."

"Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The rooms looked nothing like the photos online and were extremely outdated and worn down. I rented two rooms, including a king suite with a hot tub, and both needed major updates. There were broken lamps and doors, rusty mirrors, stained towels, holes and burn marks in the sheets, dirty couches, and old furniture everywhere. Even though the rooms were non-smoking, they smelled heavily like smoke. The environment around the property felt very unsafe. Despite “No Smoking” signs, people were smoking right outside their rooms and entrances. There were RVs and vans parked around the lot with people seemingly living there long-term. Early in the morning we even witnessed people openly using drugs below our window, which made the experience extremely uncomfortable, especially for families or women traveling alone. To be fair, I did not see bed bugs or roaches, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. They honestly seemed like the only positive part of the stay. The only reason we stayed was because our event was nearby. Otherwise, I would have checked out the same day. This place has potential because of the location, but it desperately needs remodeling, better maintenance, and stronger management. Many past reviews mention the same issues, yet management replies with generic copy-and-paste responses, often denying guest experiences instead of actually addressing the ongoing problems or improving the property.NCB. 👎"

"Older property, built in the 1980s and only has two elevators for over 200 rooms and one was non functional. Indeed, I waited nearly 30 minutes for an elevator to tote my luggage to the first floor at checkout. A hotel which is in the indeterminate age range. Not new and not yet aged enough to have developed character. It just is. Parking is much worse than my previous stay. They have now contracted an independent company to manage and the QR code and shortcode website are complex and the discount code provided by the hotel staff was so difficult to use that I abandoned the attempt and paid full price for parking. A big step in the wrong direction. The only particular advantage, if you can call it that, is that the property is across the street from the CSU main campus."

"I am a Bridal Makeup Artist and stayed here last minute the night before a wedding due to a huge snow storm in May. I wanted to make sure I took my time traveling up from the south and missed any icy roads in the early morning drive. The hotel itself was extremely clean, quiet and a good price. There was more then enough parking and the area surrounding the hotel felt safe, which is especially important for me when I'm traveling alone for work. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"We stay here almost every time we visit our daughter. The staff is always friendly and helpful, although, I was sad that Lamar is no longer there. However, was happy to hear he is still with Hilton, just moved to an upper management position, which is well deserved. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping staff is wonderful, the amenities are good. My only criticism would be the laundry amenities. One of the washers wouldn't dissolve the detergent pods, and one of the dryers took forever to dry. I think they've upgraded them since one of our first stays 4 years ago, but it would be nice if they could have more than 2 of each and if they were the ones that you can connect to an app so you know when your laundry is done. Overall, as I said, we stay here almost every time we visit and always enjoy our stay."
