"I arrived from London on the motorcycle and had a warm welcome with a lovely comfortable bed and a very good bathroom with a top class shower. Sadly I arrived too late for their delicious menu as the kitchen closes early on Sunday. But I will be back very soon as I have moved near Chester and Bala is only miles away. Highly recommended. "Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. "
