"Had a great weekend staff were fantastic and helpful always checking to see if everything is OK. The breakfast is top notch English and continental. Bar is good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Room are very clean and comfortable. They also do bar meals which again are very nice. The only down side is it's about 1 mile to the pier and entertainment but that's why we have legs i suppose. The up side is that it is quite and you can still enjoy the sound of the sea and lovely view of the bay. This hotel is now in my save list as I'll be back."

"A lovely welcome, pleasant public areas, great views, good bathroom. A small double is very small - not helped by a bulky chair making it difficult to walk around."

"Always a pleasure to visit the Belmont! Excellent staff and service. A relaxing stay in a beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated hotel offering beautiful views and clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast options cater to all with cooked food beautifully presented and a buffet for all tastes. Super healthy options and sausages for dogs! Close to all local amenities, restaurants, beach, pier, and scenic walks. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★"

"The hotel is well placed on the sea-front. The reception could do with an update which may give the wrong impression to the rest of the hotel, but my room on the 4th floor was clean and comfortable with a view over the hills with a good lift to reach upper floors and a free continental breakfast, even if I only had cereal and coffee."
