"Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need."

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"We spotted this stunning property and looked no further. The house did not disappoint, grand and full of character. The only thing with more character is Steve the owner, what a wonderful helpful Gent he is. He's truly worthy of a visit! "This chalet is just perfect, everything about the stay I could't fault. As it is the only chalet on the property you get complete privacy and your own field for activities with a lovely pond to walk around too. The lack of wifi is actually amazing and feels like a real getaway. The hot tub and firepit kept us entertained all evening anyway! Great base for motorcycle trip
"Great stay, perfect base for motorcycling trip. Good place to keep bikes safe and dry in lockup. Rooms comfortable and very reasonable for price. Bar good selection of beers at good price. Staff all friendly and helpful, couldn't fault. Would stay again, thanks"
