"We had a lovely stay in this quiet, warm and homely bungalow. Ideal for a family of three or four, with great walks from the doorstep and a perfect base for exploring Anglesey. A good local pub is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We’d return."

"Granted, we did only give 5 hours notice of our arrival, but the room was dirty and cold on arrival. No heating in the bathroom and the window wouldn't close properly. No soap and we found dried toothpaste on the bed linen. The table was unwiped and greasy. We requested to move rooms and, as much as it was a better room, it did also have issues. No soap in the bathroom and the light was quite frankly dangerous and didn't not stay lit. We found another review which said the same thing back in June so not good maintenance really. The furniture is tired and tatty. Wouldn't call a 3 or 4 star at all, more like a hostel. No option for breakfast. Not good value for money at all. If I had paid £50-60 I wouldn't be complaining, but at £100 it was well overpriced. "

"Welcoming property, warm and attractive fittings. Comfortable beds and lots of room for visitors. Only drawback we found was the upstairs bathroom. For senior citizens, climbing into a free standing bath and by juggling having a shower with a loose hand hose was difficult. Friendly owners helped make the break enjoyable,"

"Often one is disappointed when booking accommodation and the reality does not match the pictures or the description. In this case what we found exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Sally and Charles, were lovely and could not have been more attentive. The location was beautiful and tranquil. The Shepherds hut was incredible and the hosts attention to detail was impressive. This included the crisp bedding, the welcome hamper, the crockery, the maps and guides. They have thought of everything. We would not hesitate to recommend this location to someone wanting peace and tranquility but also easy access to all Anglesey has to offer and would like to congratulate Sally and Charles on what they have created."

"A fabulous place to go to leave the busy world behind. Annie was very welcoming and the hideout was perfect. Very clean, cosy and a great base to explore Anglesey. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, very comfortable sofas and beds with modern wet room. Light and airy with a lovely peaceful balcony area with view across the fields with lambs and rabbits. Flowers and a delicious Bara Brith upon arrival. Towels, toilet rolls and washing up liquid with sponge provided, however it is necessary to bring everything else that will be needed such as soaps, shampoo, all cooking staples and condiments (oil, butter, salt, pepper, milk etc) which I think is useful to know beforehand to avoid an immediate trip to the local supermarket 2 miles down the road."
