"I have stayed many times at this hotel and this will probably be the last time. I paid good money for a totally sleepless night and a very basic breakfast. When booking, I specifically asked for a room at the front of the hotel. I do so regularly, as I know from past experience that rooms, particularly the low even numbers can be noisy, so I was disappointed when arrived and was told that I was allocated Room 102. I told reception that I had bad memories of room 102 as I had stayed there in the past and it is the noisiest room in the hotel; which was why I had requested a room at the front. Reception was very unhelpful, completely unsympathetic and simply said there was nothing they could do. Room 102 lived up to my expectations, with unbearable loud noises from extractor fans and other machinery operating not far from the room window. I couldn't do any work because concentrating was impossible. I am a light sleeper - hence my request which was made when booking - and I couldn't get any sleep because of the constant racket from outside, which went on throughout the entire night. Breakfast next morning was a lacklustre affair. No fruit salad, no fresh fruit, no fried eggs on offer and the other breakfast items were fewer than is usually available and they were very slow to be replenished when they ran down. Check in the night before had been painfully slow and staff on reception were not helpful. I wouldn't want to go through this again and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. "

"Adorable and cozy hotel perfect for Loch Ness fun. Very comfortable room with great shower - hot water and pressure. Nice cafe for quick breakfast. Easy walk to restaurants and boat tours. If you need mobility accessible- no elevator so it’s a 20 steps up the stairs to rooms if that is something you need. If we come back through Scotland again we will stay here ."

"Extremely disappointing stay. The room felt dirty, with sticky surfaces and a carpet that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The overall condition was unacceptable. On top of that, the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, which made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"It’s a very nice B and B with beautiful views and just a short distance away from the city center. Dinner was gourmet and the staff was exceptionally nice and informative about the sites in Inverness and Scotland. Definitely, would stay again!"

"Hotel is very outdated. Why are you still using carpets and they were not clean? Room had a weird odor and was obscenely HOT. Food was terrible! Parking was a nightmare. No amenities like complimentary water! Only positive is the location. NO THANK YOU!! So many other hotels I've stayed at and so much better!! "
