The room is up a set of outside stairs just above the restaurant, which has a nice variety of options on the menu. We enjoyed our stay both on the way to Canna and overnight on the return."

"This was by far the most joyful stay we had in Scotland. Beautiful views of the mountain range from the the common areas and the porches. We had a twin room on the second floor and while there is no AC, opening the windows cooled it down within the hour. Besides we were staying in a heat wave in late June which is highly unusual. Temps around 75 f. The common area is lovely and we enjoyed watching the World Cup. Furniture was comfy and because it was so nice, you felt welcomed to enjoy the...

"If your preference is for a modern purpose built hotel, then the Morar hotel might not be for you. It does however offer a spectacular building with feature packed rooms downstairs with grand staircases up to the bedrooms, very clean, modern bathroom in the bedroom we had, unbelievable views from many of the bedroom windows and great food. "We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking."
