"Cabin was lovely, had everything we needed , hot tub had very strong smell of chemicals that put us off using it, we have one and it's never smelled like that, location was lovely and very peaceful but everything was closed for the Tues and Wed while we were there so that was disappointing "

We wanted somewhere off the beaten path, but still close enough for trips out, and it struck that balance perfectly.The property has great facilities, including excellent heating and a lovely fire, which made it really cosy and comfortable throughout our stay.The electric car charger was a great bonus, and being able to arrange a food delivery in advance made things really easy. The nearest town is about a 30-minute drive through beautiful countryside, which suited us as we were looking for a more rural, peaceful stay with no traffic or city noise.The views were stunning, and the host was friendly, helpful, and communicated really well throughout. I’d definitely recommend staying here."

"The house is an ideal size for a large group and the living area really lends itself to socialising. The surrounding area is also stunning, even on those grey and wet days. A short drive to Oban, and while on a single track road there are plenty of passing places making it stress free. The house manager is also extremely helpful and welcoming should you need to contact him!"

"The Boatman's Cottage is a real hidden gem - in all senses. This secluded little cottage is ideal if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the scenery, relax and breathe in the fresh air. Local walks from your doorstep are great to explore. But if you want more there is loads to do in the area and the views are amazing not matter which way you travel.The cottage itself is clean, tidy and has all you need and more, plus your hosts provide you with a very generous welcome pack.Personally, I wanted a quiet time away, on my own, to reflect and recharge and my stay at The Boatman's certainly did that and I came away refreshed and ready for the new year ahead. A great place to stay - secluded with a touch of luxury."
