I would like a better light for nighttime reading and a bigger television(visual impairment) My 3rd time staying here while visiting the D and G hospital and I would happily stay here again."

"Used the hotel as a base to visit the Seven Stanes biking, so a perfect location, couldn't fault the hotel, and a good breakfast to start the day. Staff and room excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"Work visit but got evening walking advise of the gentleman (he's never been called that before 😉) at reception/bar, thank you. Didn't bother with breakfast but was offered an earlier breakfast if required. Different room to last week, didn't have a comfy chair and the sink is very close to the bath but it was quieter and did the job. Just used the chippy for evening meals but with a pint of Best from the bar and making use of the seating area, thank you. Will hopefully be back"

"The hotel is a lovely wee quirky hotel. The room was surprisingly large considering how narrow the hotel is! The bed was really comfortable. The Scottish breakfast was cooked to order, tasty and generous. Staff were lovely. Only thing to bear in mind is that the restaurant & bar don’t stay open late, so plan accordingly in the evening. Other really convenient aspect is that street parking is free."
