Skye is a lovely island and this was a terrific place to visit from although trips out on the Island do need time so you can take your time driving the single track roads with cars and sheep :) we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house than out as it was so lovely. Spacious enough for the teenager and the pre-teen to be separated and mum and dad to have some space to chill out! Lovely wee beach just at the end of the road and the host also manage to provide lovely sunny weather for us!"

"Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. Fab kitchen for eating and socialising with friends, with really good decking out back and village and loch views to the front. Gorgeous sunsets, depending on the weather. Stay, relax, explore, enjoy... repeat. "
