The great room with huge fireplace and view of the Blue Ridge is perfect for hanging out in the winder, and the big and well-equipped kitchen is excellent for big family dinners.This time, a big winder storm presented some winter challenges, and the host did a great job of making things right. "Great location and experience. The stairs are a bit steeper than we imagined, so may be difficult for those with mobility issues. but they were not a problem for our family and allowed for a spectacular view of the water!"

"Our family found this wonderful place for a fun short family getaway. The obvious draw was the amazing pinball/arcade room which did not disappoint (to beat the high scores will take more than the 2 nights that we booked). We also enjoyed playing games around the kitchen table, watching some "classic" DVDs with our teenagers, and heading to the recreation fields literally adjoining the rear of the property to kick, toss, and catch some balls and discs.
