Comfortable beds and bathrooms were super with both shower and bath in each. We had a problem with one of the toilets leaking nut the host was quick to get it fixed and were very apologetic, it did not spoil our stay. The area is very quiet with some nice walks. Close to the water launched from harbour by shipyard when tide was in. We were a mixed Gen group and it worked for all of us, nice games room with large tv to watch a film, plenty of books to read in main room. Really enjoyed our stay would revisit"

"We had a superb time at The Smithy. We really felt at home for the time we were there, cooking in the kitchen and playing games in the garden. Having an enclosed space was great for our dog, but there were spaces where I feel like my dog could have jumped over, which made me feel like I couldn’t leave him completely on his own when he was outside. Having the separate living space was super - a lovely treat and escape for the kids and an opportunity for them to have their independence. Given me some great ideas! Haha. Thank you again for being so warm and welcoming, it’s greatly appreciated."
