"Enjoyed our time spent and the lodging. The location was perfect as a base for our itinerary in the region. Good dinner recommendations that worked out well and we loved the hike that starts right from the hotel. Would stay here again if we make it back to the area (which we certainly hope to do)."

Eliassen Rorbuer

Eliassen Rorbuer

8/10 Good
"Eliassen was a lovely place to stay. The cabin was clean, quaint and well situated to nearby towns and great hikes. They have a wonderful bakery on site with delicious pastries. The staff were extremely helpful. We needed an EV charger and they had one we could borrow. One the downside, only two of the six charging stations were working, which was a bit frustrating. The kitchen amenities aren’t great. There was only salt in our kitchen, so if you plan to do any cooking, you would need to buy all the basics."

10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous property with amazing views over the water and mountains! The restaurant was also beautiful with some of the best food we had in the islands. Our particular cabin didn’t have the best views, as it looked onto car parking and other cabins, but it was still super cozy and nicely decorated, with everything we needed. Just note that the two bedrooms are upstairs, but the bathroom is downstairs— so you need to be ok with that."

Lofoten Basecamp

Lofoten Basecamp

8/10 Good
"We booked the cheapest room which was approx $200. Our cabin was a small, clean room with twin beds and a bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy from the cold outside. The hot water in the shower is limited to 10 minutes which they kindly warn you about, and for us was not an issue. They had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge as well as utensils which was nice. We were able to park right outside the cabin and there were electric vehicle chargers. We did not use the sauna. While everything was clean and communication was easy, I am not sure it is worth the price. It is an extra $100 if you want a harbor view which seems like bigger rooms at least but again not sure if its worth it."
