"Great location! Just a 100-metre walk from the cruise terminal in Svolvær. The family room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious with both hot and cold dishes, perfect for Asian tastes. Highly satisfied!"

"The Scandic Leknes Lofoten Hotel was a nice hotel. It was centrally located and an easy walk to the grocery store, shops, and restaurants. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options. The fresh bread and jams were our favorites! One thing to mention: there was not an electrical outlet in the bathroom! A hairdryer was provided; however, it had to plugged into an outlet by the bed where there is no mirror. It was a little confusing "

The only thing, we had an early flight from Leknes, so please plan ahead,as there are road closures, the Nappstraumtunnelen (undersea road tunnel) in Lofoten, has nightly closures (11 PM - 6 AM) until late 2027 for upgrades, with limited convoys at midnight & 3 AM, and daytime delays due to traffic control; there's no alternative route, so use the Vegvesen app or Statens vegvesen website for live updates before traveling. "

"Room was clean and cosy. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped for food prep and cooking. Heaters in kitchen and living room broke down on the last night of our stay but good that hotel provided a portable heater. Would be good if hotel could provide larger waste bin in the kitchen. Would also be good if reception was open for longer on weekends or at least have a contact number to call when it was closed. Breakfast was yummy with a good spread. Loved the waffle-maker. "The hotel is excellent! Very well located, very well appointed, staff knowledgeable and attentive, wonderful breakfast ( missing it in this hotel I am now …😄). Room with beautiful view to the sea and harbour, excellent bathroom with two sinks ( which is a plus for us), superb shower! "Amazing location! If you like remote quiet and tucked away in a cove in the beautiful lofoten islands. The village is kept rustic and original from when it was a working fishing village.
