The rooms were clean, price was great, old hotel…. Water did not drain good in sink or shower! Mold on bath room ceiling Staff was good. Breakfast was not too bad, coffee machine was broke!

Just an Okay Stay

Was an okay stay. The room smelled really funky, bed was really small. No elevator in the building so if you have any trouble with stairs would not recommend. The front desk clerk was very friendly but got a little flustered when I asked for a first floor room since there was no elevator. Having just had a full knee replacement a few months ago stairs are not my friend just yet. Maid knocked on my door very early as well.

Check in and out were great. Still a good deal, but over the last few years that I've been staying here for an annual event, the maintenance of the property is going downhill. Nothing major, but just a lot of little things that add up. Also, the sheets were threadbare in many spots. They should have been replaced long before they got to the condition that they were in.

Too good to be true.

Had booked a single king size room, upon getting to the hotel I was told that I was being given two full size beds because "there were things going on in town that day". When in reality, the hotel has most of it's rooms rented out to people living there. There was blood stains on the second bed and lil black marks on the sheets implying that there was at least at one time a bedbug infestation. There was exposed wiring behind the bed that wasn't horrid. I wasn't given a different rate for my room, and was basically told to deal with it. So between the dank smell, small beds and general uncleanliness, I would avoid the place at all costs. If I could get a refund, I would.

$140 for a hotel in the middle of nowhere under construction. Our room was still covered in dust from the construction with no explanation. This isn’t on the staff, it’s 100% on Expedia and the property owner for not giving the patron a break. Hey, the refrigerator didn’t work in the room either…again, whoever owns the place is a penny pinching jerk and if this room was $60 I would have never said peep. $140?! I’m the idiot for sure. People should just spend that money on a sleeping bag and stay under a bridge, it’s about the same kind of vibe with more fun.

First time staying there ins some time. As I remembered, the staff were cordial and accommodating. Service staff went out of their way help and assist. Facility was under renovation. Changes to room made them more comfortable. Area around the immediate outside could use some sprucing up (butts, etc.)

Very disappointed that I wasted my weekend here..

The staff were friendly. Unfortunately this was our third stay at this particular location, but will be our last. Our first room had hot or hotter water in the sink and toilet, but in the morning we discovered there was no water in the shower. They moved us to a different room which had an overfull dehumidifier, a fist shaped "dent" in the wall and while we at least had cold water to brush teeth with, the shower was scalding hot or flesh melting hot. My hot tub at 104⁰ is cooler than the shower was. Someone came and took notes the dent and apologized for the overly hot water but that was it, no offer to rectify anything beyond that. If we had not already paid and used our credits on a non-refundable reservation, we would have gone to another hotel but we were already out the money so we were stuck.
