Logrono, capital of the La Rioja region in northern Spain, has great food, good wine and so much #History. An overnight stop on the Camino de Santiago and surrounded by vineyards, itā€™s a beautiful city. Construction on this stunning cathedral began in the 15th century and wasnā€™t completed until the 18th century. The most striking feature is the twin Baroque towers that take on a golden glow of an afternoon. The tapas bars of Logrono are well worth a night of bar hopping and along with some time in the vineyards and wineries, itā€™s worth a couple of days on the itinerary.
