Walking along this isolated stretch of beach in Central California was a site to behold...even my pup stopped to stare! It can only be accessed at low tide and about an 6 mile beach trek from the Jalama Beach campground.

"A convenient and affordable Pacific Highway stop, if slightly off the beaten track. The place is fine but we did feel it was perhaps a little over-marketed in the listing. The “futon” was more of a sofa (I did manage to sleep on it after requesting extra bedding), “free breakfast” was two pods for the coffee machine, pizza was not available after 6pm and if there was a beach we didn’t find it (at least 4 miles away).
