Everything at The Windermere Hotel was excellent. All of the staff members were super friendly from the emails we exchanged prior to my arrival, to every time I was in and out of the hotel to the breakfast dining staff. My room was cozy and quiet and breakfast (which was included) I really enjoyed. The staff is really the key to this wonderful hotel. I felt so welcomed and I cannot say enough nice things about the hotel's team. Thank you for everything!

This property had it all! It was close to everything yet set just far enough so street noise would not affect our sleep. Breakfast each morning came with fresh eggs, sausage, bacon with many options. There were a couple mornings when we had to leave early to get to a tour or flight back - they still made us a to go breakfast which was awesome! In a quaint area. The Grove Guest House had 5 stars and great reviews. I decided other people couldn't be wrong, so I booked a week there for a business trip. I was looking for the true B&B experience, not the hotel with breakfast offered experience. I was not disappointed. Immediately I get a warm email from Hazel about saftey in London, what the Grove House offers, and asked what I wanted for breakfast. The location is incredible with St. Pancras, King’s Cross and Euston train stations an incredibly short walk away. I wanted to see Paris for a day and with St. Pancras a short walk away it allowed me more time to sleep in and minimal time spent returning to the comfort of a bed after a long day. The staff were super friendly and breakfast had a variety of options with table order service. I would certainly stay here again if I visit London in the future.

I love the location of Goodenough College. It is five minutes walk to Russell Square tube station, so convenient for central London. I also like the fact that it is so close to the Brunswick Centre which has shops, restaurants, grocery stores and an excellent cinema. Marchmont Street is just behind the Brunswick Centre, more great restaurants, particularly Moreish which I love for its delicious and healthy foods. Also, for book lovers proximity to Skoob and Judd Books is a plus.

We stayed at this hotel because of it's location, and loved it. The rooms are small, which is what one would expect in Hampstead. The staff was so friendly, and the morning coffee (I aways had 2) was "out of this world". Cappuccino or white coffee or whatever, freshly made and delivered with a friendly smile. Loved the muesli and yogurt for breakfast with fresh fruit. There was also toast, hard boiled eggs and ham if you were so inclined. Would definitely stay here next trip.
