I booked a one-bedroom and ended up having a two-bedroom apartment. The place is clean, with all the kitchen equipments as you need if you want to stay in for some simple cooking. Location is relatively easy - 15 mins simple walk from London Bridge station. The Wifi is VERY UNSTABLE though - it kept dropping in and out. As this is a work trip, it's quite annoying.

Being a foody, it was a great location for reaching the sights and eatery locations. The rental was small enough for one but large enough for at least 4 to 5 people. Communicating from the host was good except for when I informed them about the bathroom light and WiFi. There were plenty of utesils for cooking, eating, and drinking. One of the best security aspects is the locking the door. Even though it seems like a really safe area this creates an ease for visitors. If the location is available when I travel back, it will be the first on my list. Highly recommend.

The flat was musty and a bit damp-smelling when I arrived, and needed constant airing throughout the stay to keep it at bay. It could also do with a proper deep clean and a fresh coat of paint. The windows of my one (flat D) faced a brick wall, and a wooden fence outside slammed in the wind. BUT it's fairly cheap, and very well located. The kitchen was missing a few essentials (tea towels, washing up brush/sponges) but was kitted out ok. Bermondsey Street is nearby and excellent for food if you're going to mainly eat out.

The floors were dirty, we couldn't walk barefooted. The rug is filthy. Everything else was clean, just the floor. The extractor fan seems to be faulty, albeit turned off but its slightly come away from the ceiling and drips water after a shower. The décor wasn't the best either, we had nowhere to unpack our clothes other than 3 hangers on a rack in each room and a random chest of drawers in the front room. We also had 2/3 lamps next to the beds where there was no plug sockets? It's a fantastic property with a lot of potential for sure!
On the right you can see it's slightly come away from the ceiling and on the left you can see drips of water.
Our bath mat after one shower. This dirt was from the floor.
My son's socks from only a couple of hours after arrival.

There were a few issues with the apartment. Whilst the apartment iself was clean, there was no toilet roll, it smelt of smoke and in the corridor there was rat bait (however no sign whatsoever of anything in the apartment). Also the wifi didnt work.

L'emplacement est excellent, très beau quartier et près de tout. Nous avons eu notre appartement d'avance car il était déjà prêt. Par contre, le logement n'est pas climatisé donc il fait très très chaud. La cuisine n'est pas bien équipée, nous n'avions pas assez de papier hygiénique, pas de guénille, un seul linge à vaisselle pour 9 jours. Le bas de poubelle ne sentait pas bon et c'était pire avec la chaleur. Appartement très petit comparément aux photos que nous avions vues avant. Les planchers étaient collants à notre arrivée.

Goed ruim appartement (A), netjes en 2 badkamers. Genoeg eet tentjes in de buurt een goede Pizzeria op de hoek van de straat. Enige jammere is dat de verduistering van de ramen veel licht door laat, verder een van de kamers die aan een hal gelegen ligt schiet de hal verlichting steeds aan als er iemand naar een ander appartement loopt. Verder goede keuken dus goed voor deze prijs.
