Recently refurbished location. Clean and well-kept room, numerous accessories and services provided to the customer, such as welcome snacks and complimentary water, and Rituals branded soap and shampoo. Welcoming, charming and friendly staff. They have come to meet all our needs and requirements, including food allergies and intolerance. A great overhaul experience. Highly recommended

The property was unique and beautiful. In a very quiet neighborhood but close to many things. We arrived early before check in and they sat is in a lovely lounge and provided tea and snacks while we waited. The breakfast was fresh, generous and delicious. Definitely would stay there again

Soon after my father's unexpected passing we contacted the hotel with a request for a refund.  We sent several messages and left a phone message explaining the circumstances and that we had to fly home.  We eventually received a message stating that they would not refund our stay even though there was 2 weeks to re-rent it to someone else.  We understand that it was within their rights to not refund our money. Our experience though was that each and every hotel besides this one had compassion for our situation and gave us a full or partial refund in both Scotland and Ireland. We are very disappointed in the lack of understanding due to these exceptional circumstances. We will be returning to finish our trip in the near future, but I don't believe we will patronize this establishment, or recommend our friends do the same, given their lack of empathy.
