"We loved our stay at The Springs Retreat in Leakey! The two-bedroom cabin was beautiful inside, very well furnished, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The property is immaculate — the pool area and creek access are amazing, and the grounds are kept in spotless condition. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay — highly recommended!"

"The grain bin was so unique and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable! There were some games inside, books, DVD's, as well as a Roku you can sign into to watch your streaming services. The kids (ages 4, 8 and 13) all loved exploring around the property, playing corn hole and roasting marshmallows by the fire. There is a small local grocery store about 2 minutes away, but meat is pretty expensive there so I recommend at least bringing your own meat to cook, along with charcoal for the grill. We really enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back!"

"what a delightful cabin. Charming and comfortable decor. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating of some last minute issues on our part. A perfect get away with so many amenities nearby. The Laurel Tree restaurant? Lost Maples State Park, and more. The scent of the breeze blowing through the beds of Rosemary surrounding the cabin are reason enough to visit all alone. "

"Exactly as described. Plenty of space for several people. The river has good catch and release for small fish. Best place to swim is to the right and over the gravel road the tree with the rope will mark the best area. Water gets to about 7 feet there, its deceiving due to how clear it is. Garner state park is a short drive (if you've never been its a must!)the merchant store less than a mile away has any forgotten items and then some. The hosts are excellent communicators. We had a small issue and they were above and beyond with responding. Definitely would recommend. "

"Great place on the Frio, very spacious, nice rooms and porch deck (as well as pavilion down by the river). Host was great. The bunk house worked out well for the college kids and the 3 rooms for the adults/parents. We hope to stay there again next year."
